Check your pedals first
This spanner is intended for pedals with accessible 15mm spindle flats. It is not a universal fit for every pedal: some models use an internal hex fitting instead, and clearance around the spindle can vary.
Confirm the required tool and available clearance with your pedal manufacturer before ordering. Do not force a poorly fitting tool onto the spindle.
Installation and removal
Follow the pedal and crank manufacturers’ instructions, including the correct thread direction for each side, thread preparation and tightening specification. Check the pedal’s left/right marking before starting.
This is a hand spanner, not a calibrated torque wrench. Where a specified tightening torque is required, use a suitable torque-measuring setup. Seek help from a qualified bicycle mechanic if a pedal is seized or you are unsure of the procedure.
