Professional tubeless rim tape is the foundation of a reliable tubeless setup. Proper application ensures an airtight seal and trouble-free performance.
How to Apply Tubeless Rim Tape
1. Prepare Your Rims
Remove existing tyres and inner tubes completely. Clean the rim bed thoroughly, removing any old tape, dirt, or debris. The surface must be completely clean and dry for proper tape adhesion.
2. Select Correct Width
Measure your rim's internal width. The tape should be 2-4mm wider than the rim bed. Our tape is available in 25mm and 31mm widths to fit most road, gravel, and MTB rims.
3. Apply the Tape
Starting opposite the valve hole, apply the tape with firm, even pressure, ensuring no air bubbles or wrinkles. Keep the tape centered on the rim bed. Overlap the starting point by 10-15cm and press firmly. Use a blunt tool to locate and pierce the valve hole through the tape.
4. Install Valves and Complete Setup
Insert your tubeless valve through the hole. Hand-tighten the lock ring firmly. Mount your tyre, add sealant, and inflate.
