Check tyre size and valve reach
Match the tube’s size range to the markings on your tyre. A 700c wheel diameter alone does not establish fit: tyre width also matters.
Check your rim depth and wheel manufacturer’s valve requirements. Allow enough exposed valve for secure pump-head attachment. A 60mm valve does not guarantee compatibility with every mid-depth rim.
Fitting guidance
Follow the tyre, rim and tube manufacturers’ instructions. Inspect the tyre and rim tape before fitting, avoid trapping the tube beneath the tyre bead, and follow the applicable tyre and rim pressure limits.
